I can't see May getting a good deal from the EU with such a feeble majority.

I think we should just go for hard Brexit and go to WTO trade rules. Then get rid of the Human Rights Act and start deporting terrorists. Then we also start deporting all the East European "Big Issue" sellers.

Happy Days!

I disagree.

Cameron is a coward. He should have either stayed and seen through the decision of the referendum or not held it in the first place.

May cocked up, but at least she is sticking around to deal with her own mess, rather than running off with her tail between her legs.

Her mandate is weak, but its stronger than anyone else.

If people run a race and no one reaches the finish line, surely the one who covered the greatest distance is the winner.

The way I see it running the country is a fairly important job. Make a big cock up or a stupid mistake and you should be out. Cameron's was ridiculous, no way he should have been allowed to stay. It's no no good sticking it out if you are no good at your job.

May has made the country and her party look very weak, she had a majority, now she doesn't. The finish line is the finish line, it isn't sports day at the local school.

But who would you like to be in charge going into the negotiations

I dont think it really matters Richie, we are in for a kicking and we will be dancing to their tune. We have nothing they want or need and most of the manufacturing done here that is reliant on the EU will be moving there.

so the only chance we have got and it's a slim one at best is to have one that will stick to his or her guns.

Thats the problem Richie, we are asking to leave and that will be on their terms. We have nothing to negotiate with , its going be their way or no way.

What we should of had was a contract with a get out clauses long before we joined, its just another complete feckup at the tax payers expense.
