There have always been floods. We just tamed the rivers into courses and sometimes they escape .

 

Remember the floods in Norway last year?

 

Same thing,towns build on silt deposits from earlier river beds,get much ran,river jumps like it always did. Two days later it's back to normal.

 

I remember the BBC coverage from a town called Flåm ,literally flood in Norwegian.

 

Clearly not the first time it's happened then,how many times does the place need to be submerged before you name the town after it?

Well, from a bystanders point of view it looks like a final push to get yourself over the line. Before AHPP has to generously make a substantial contribution to get this thread closed down.

Number of posts mean zero to me, although it’s bound to be high when I’m dealing with the team of 4. How do you feel about the winter fuel hit by labour on the pensioners ?, thought I’d ask as you have been unusually quiet about it, not the case  had it been a Tory decision I suspect.
