A tory saying increases in tax would be better method to target infaltion than interest rates rises...

Quote

If the government wants to curtail the spending of older, richer people, it needs to tax them, say some. David Gauke, a former Conservative Treasury minister, said: “Ministers could consider taking measures such as increasing taxes to redistribute the pain. The challenge all authorities have at the moment is about the distribution of pain, but the pain can’t be avoided when the economy is running too hot.”

So we will help you by taxing you more 🤷‍♂️that’s thanks you get for being a hard working responsible type your whole working life 😡Tories I’m sad to say are literally out of ideas big time, worse than that the opposition don’t have anything whatsoever to bring to the table.

If the government changes, but the frustrations many voters feel stay the same, what then?

Old knee taker might get just realise it ain’t as easy as it looks Mark, always tempting to sit back and criticise but when the buck stops at you it’s totally different. Nothing Labour or any of the other opposition parties are saying looks to have any real connection to the problems your typical working class family  is encountering. Labour in particular seem more concerned with various vocal minority groups than anything else.
