Maybe the sharp dropoff in late 2021 is due to covid lockdowns. It's crackers to think that gun nuts would obey lockdown rules.
More likely that lockdowns meant that there were no mass gatherings of defenceless people, such as in schools, at which the Gun Nuts could enact their sick fantasies.

If you’re not a nutter it’s not difficult, of course there are checks!! emoji849.png but certainly not difficult.

Average time from application to issue for a first time FAC is nearly a year Mull. Probationary periods at clubs which you obviously along with the medical checks weren’t aware of can easily stretch into longer. But you still say it’s not difficult eh 🤷‍♂️.  As I stated it’s probably easier in fact to obtain an illegal firearm if you do desire than a legal one.

Of course it’s easier to obtain an illegal one🤷‍♂️ a good bit less than a year and a form to your gp, wee visit from your FAO. I don’t see the difficulty I’m afraid.

I hate to break it to someone like mull regarding this subject, you cannot compare the UK & USA, we have the strictest laws in the whole world regarding obtaining and keeping a licenses.

If you're argument actually had any validity then why not compare the USA and Canada.

They are literally neighbors with practically zero borders in many places, sadly it's the culture not the laws and was well documented in a Michael Moore documentary.

The other side of the coin. I guess she is a sick gun nut. Your reply 42 was  just a a standard cliche notjing more. It’s far more to do with societal issues than firearms. If I lived over there I’d most definitely be going down the concealed carry route and I absolutely admire the attitude of the police if you “ a law abiding armed citizen  “ defend your home and family from any  intruders.

Concealed carry does require a permit.

But like anything, you've got to know what you're doing and practice.

They say you're average soldier probably fires less than a hundred rounds throughout there whole time in the military, especially so during peace time.
