Wild Goats are fairly different to domestic animals. Can't see what all the fuss is about, of course there is trophy hunting, and as long as its from a sustainable source it's good for local economy, as for the MP throwing his toys out the pram, why's he trying to ban something that encourages tourism to Islay, where I can imagine there isn't a whole lot of tourist attractions. (Apart from the scenery obviously)

Hadn't seen the sheep! ? I suppose as long as it was a clean shot? I think someone has been ripped off, told she was stalking a very rare woolly beast...better not let her near Wales....

... and see herds of majestic wildebeeste on their annual migration across the desolate wastes above cwmbran.

ok, never saw the blackface ram pic, thought it was just the wild goats and the deer.

Cant think of any landowner/farmer allowing that to happen unless they were paid a lot of money as they must've known she'd post it on twitter and they'd receive bad PR from the Islay locals and wider public.

I shoot but find it really...can’t think of a suitably strong word..distasteful sad pathetic that someone feels the need to pose like this, with a farm sheep. See you next Tuesday

Wild Sheep and Goats get more cunning than Deer.

I have shot many of them in New Zealand, the farmers have problems with the wild Rams getting through the fences and crossing their domestic Ewes as well as the threat of TB jumping over to their livestock.

If you don't like the fact she poses with a dead animal then frankly thats a problem I fail to understand.Would you have the same level of outrage if someone was posing with a Salmon they had caught from a River stocked with Smolt?

it's all relative and talking about salmon is like me saying would you find it distasteful if a farmer who had shot a dog for worrying his sheep was to pose with it with a big grin on his face?

I am sometimes quite proud of the shot I have landed on a rabbit or such, might even tell my wife how difficult it was (not that she would give a toss) but I wouldn't put a fucking pic up of it on facebook. I might say that the feral problem in NZ is half a world away from some sheep on a small Scottish isle.

shooting vermin, ie the problem animals you have shot, is completely different to trophy shooting imho. ps, was not outraged at hunting, but the pose with a sheep, hope I have explained to such a degree that you now understand my personal thoughts and opinions.
