Half right of course, we should be wary of what both sides are telling us, in this conflict neither are coming out as shining examples of humanity.

I think it’s possible to hate both sides equally.

They’re both warmongering murdering bastards.

Very possible to do that.

As long as we arn't all looking at the conflict with rose tinted glasses, I reckon a lot of people will think the same

It's important to correctly define the sides.

On one we have Netanyahu and the IDF, supported by the US. On the other we have Hamas the terrorists, supported by Iran.

On no side at all we have the vast majority of the ~66,000 innocent civilian casualties, Gazan and Israeli. Of them, the lion's share are victims of the IDF.

No indeed.  It goes back at least to the Roman Empire.  They indeed were (if I remember rightly) the ones who came up with the word Palestine (a corruption of the biblical Phillistines) in what was Judaea.  Yes the Israelites have been persecuted for thousands of years,

that is an interesting post - to grasp the whole history of the Arabs and the Jews back to before Jerusalem would take a while and give a better perspective. I know Jews throughout the world have faced pogroms, but during the Crusades europeans murdered plenty of Arabs.

The history that is being written now - Netanyahu is a modern day crusader  - slaughtering Arabs and stealing their land

Have you considered starting a Cycle convoy to Palestine?

"Peddles for Palestine" sounds catchy, you could let your home to some migrants while you were gone and seek sponsorship for your carbon neutral quest?

I could be responsible for your PR,we could sell branded Cycles with catchy names , Shemah scarfs and AK47 shaped key rings.

Maybe he could take a few more off here Mike and keep going to China and get them told about all those coal fired  power stations, point out to them what a shining example the UK and Millimong are, maybe best not mention the cost of our electricity here though eh.

Not all Arabs are Muslims and not all Muslims are Arabs.  Muhammad born 570 died 632. 😊
