Having they're accounts signed off would actually be a 1st.

 

It's almost as stupid as them trying to set the price of Russian gas. Erm, remind me again who has the gas and wants the gas.

 

But Ursula isn't exactly known for her acumen, wasn't it her that left the German army somewhat underfunded and lacking in equipment?

I don't see the rejection of fracking as being a 'bad' decision....

 

Certainly some of the others might be judged that way in hindsight.

 

This is a symptom of the parliamentary election cycle which prevents the party in power committing to the massive tax spend required for future delivery of output when they may not be in power to reap the glory - or accountable for the inevitable cost over-run cockup.

 

Dreadful really - should be a cross-party committee for such strategic considerations
