The last two years what has been the utterly dominant factor in everyday existence?? what is the current vote of confidence issue over ?? to just make a flippant remark like that is missing the whole point.   Let’s face it yourself and many others clamoured for restrictions and actions which with hindsight or not depending on how you view it have utterly wrecked the economy and saddled the country with astronomical debt, in my eyes those like yourself shoulder a large part of the blame as to what was allowed to pass unchallenged as governance. Any government in power at the time was damned either way. Of course there’s more to it but in reality when it comes to political types lying is to be expected sadly.
Standard. Talk about missing the point.

The current vote of confidence is over the continued, blatant lying by the PM. An erosion of trust maybe, the majority of his party don't even trust him any more. They've obviously also realised that he's now become a liability rather than an asset, as the majority of the voting public have seen through the bluster and buffoonery as well.

Due to the utterly dominant factor in everyday existence being a global pandemic every other country in the world has experienced it. I don't see many others going through the same political turmoil as we in the UK are, or governments that have been quite so dammed. As you say, there's more to it, rather a lot more really.

Anyway, I thought someone had kindly created a shiny new thread for you recently, in which to rant and whine about Covid. You might as well stick to that one rather than this.

No 42 I totally get the point. The country  is currently in a cost of living crisis “ a well used word nowadays” substantially  as a result of the two years of lunacy that was covid. The release of the Sue Gray report has played a huge part in triggering  tonight’s actions. How you can not see the link that is “covid” I don’t know. No ones ranting and whining  42, my comment on what you supported and backed is based upon your posting history over the period although I’m sure you’d like to forget the last 2 years eh.

The important thing is he gets the boot.

Whilst I’m no fan of the current socialist spendthrift type path of the Tory party , the remarks of this no nonsense or bullshit type of individual are quite apt. Although I’m sure you’ll no doubt disagree.

I reckon Jeremy Hunt has been lining himself up for a while, I have my suspicions that Gove would be preferred by Murdoch et al.,  but nobody's going to vote for someone who looks like that and is blatantly off their face on coke.
