Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. There are plenty of pleasant northern accents (I say that with grandparents from Rawtenstall and Sheffield) but hers is not one of them. 

 

It might be a tiny bit prejudiced of me to suggest that people with extreme regional accents make a bit of an effort to communicate in a flatter, more accessible manner, but given that the purpose of communication is to communicate clearly, her thick NW parlance inhibits her ability to reach people outside of her geographical area.

Not as bad a strong brummie, shame as its the content that should be important not the delivery. Im not sure about the content (if she is really leadership material) but that seems a secondary consideration theese days.

No I’d say not, the prospect of the likes of rayner or abbot being involved in running the country is a grim one. Anyway 42 I’ve left a few posts, including one just now conveying Javids new found wisdom  for you and the other covid zealots regarding the utter futility of your chosen cause for the past 2 years. The silence is deafening.
