I just couldn't agree more with this. I felt my vote was wasted this year- I knew which party was going to win in my area and my vote was lost in the wind.

Had it been individual votes counting directly towards PM id have felt much better about it.

 

Fair enough.

 

Please excuse my ignorance and explain to me how it would work please :001_smile:

Just a quick search seems to suggest it would make virtually no real difference to the actual result, but smaller parties would be a little better represented.

I guess.

 

But I'm pretty sure many on the loosing side will still be unhappy.

 

Just look at the referendum, that could not have been fairer, each vote was of exactly equal value, but the re-moaner will never be happy.

 

We live in a time of self entitlement where people feel aggrieved that they have not got their way, regardless of the number.
