More that you look like a home owner rather than a professional.

I welcomed it when it happened here last year, puts all of us on a level playing field. At the end of the day if you can't price waste disposal into your work your to cheap

Does that make sense? If everyone could tip at the local recycling centre, how could it be anymore equal?

When you pay to tip green waste (rakings mostly for us) to go in for compost to see other teams tipping with the householders for free it's not equal. I'm not worried if we all pay or not but when you get the waste carriers licence to pay to tip and the next bloke doesn't it makes for a uneven playing field. If we all play by the same rules it's simple and fair for all.

I've got no issues paying if everyone does. Problem is some people either turn up at the tip in a cheap car small trailer and risk it or fly tip.

What does annoy me is that I can't take my truck on to get rid of my own stuff.

I have been shown the door with a twin axle trailer and Landrover even with an old matress aboard. Parked outside the gate and dragged it in.

Can't even take a commercial vehicle into our tip. You have to get a special permit from the council if you have a "commercial" vehicle such as a pickup. I think you can only go 4 times a year.

Fly tipping is the first thing that will happen! Which then has to be cleaned up at taxpayers expense.

It's been like it here as long as I can remember!

Fly tipping is cleaned up at the landowners expense - taxpayers only pay if it is on council land.

Cheers
