In reality what hefty jail time are they gonna get when that country will have to feed them while they are in Jail. So Perhaps they should ban their team. What a perfect deterrent if the 100,000 supporters had spent all that money for nothing I'm sure they would have a quiet chat with the few hundred

I meant it's not fair in the genuine fans/family's that watch the game because they enjoy it! Myself I hate the game! Nancy's!! But my nephew loves it and his dad won't take him to an England game because of this!!

I know Hamdogg it isn't fair. As far as your nephew is concerned buy him an oval ball. He can then go to matches and learn how to have harmless banter with opposing fans. If his parents can't make it to a game then he is safe to go on his own and the fans will look after him (and that's both sets of Supporters) just like I did when I was a kid :001_smile:

To be fair, having seen and been part of the types of fans that attend rugby league games, I'm amazed that for the main supporters are well behaved. We have a bit of a warrior culture in NZ, the games attract those from lower on the socioeconomic ladder, including gang members yet you can mingle happily before and after matches with supporters from both sides and all levels. Sure, there's the occasional punch up but nothing like I'm seeing coming out of France.
