I've just exchanged my licence for a French one and to my delight it has come back with a 5t trailer entitlement.

We've now almost 4k on the clock and still no tacho cards have arrived.

Starting to get nervous about being stopped by the Gendarmes.

For lorries up to 7.5t.

 

Those of a unimog driving state of thinking might use this exemption

 

vehicles used by agricultural, horticultural, forestry, farming or fishery businesses for carrying goods within 100km of where the business is based

Indeed, not worth the potential hassle really as it's no hardship using tachos, despite what all the guys who don't own lorries say on here....
