also i run both the 391 and 661 on either 20" or 23" bars for every day use, if i need to i have a 32" for the big trunks for the 661. anything over 32" i break out the old 051 or borrow a 880 but thats very rare

What's the biggest bar you run on your 051 and How does it pull.

Thanks

We have a 661 and it is poo on a 30 inch bar, it's gutless in big wood.. Might just be a bad egg?

If have thought so, I've got a 461 and it's brilliant on a 25 so the 661 should be fine at 30.

You have remembered to sharpen it right?!

I went into fr Jones with an open mind between the 461 and 661, completely prepared to buy either and came away with the 461. I have had no reason to regret it as with an 18inch bar it is fine for day to day use and it pulls the 25 inch bar lovely, I have cut up more than 1 4ft trunk with it.
