Best crane I've had is a Mowi, brilliant lifter and the best for crane feeding Chippers due to the parallel boom thing! Lift the branch off the ground an inch, pull the main boom lever and it keeps that height all the way back to the crane base.

I use a mowi 300 the parallel movement is brilliant particularly in tight spaces, good trailer n crane but the bolsters on this one are weak compared with its predecessor (same but older) although having said that they looked heavier duty at APF,

Have you looked at the Farma range, they do 3 point link cranes we have a trailer crane of theirs and it has served us well.

With the 3pt cranes, do you have the trailer hooked up underneath to the drawbar or do you have to mount the crane on the drawbar? I am wondering how much of a faff it is to go from crane on its own to crane and timber trailer.
