I had been wearing Haix Protector pro boots for the last 11 years or more, they are so comfortable, its like wearing your slippers to work. My feet were always warm, dry and comfortable. My only issue was how long they lasted, I occasionally got 12 months out of a pair, but often less. Given what they cost I would have like to get 18 month or 2 years out of a pair. Also the eyelets sometime snap off.

So bearing the above in mind I decided I would try something different this time. Many on here seem to like the meindl Airsteam's, so I tried a pair on at my dealers, they felt a good fit and looked well made, so a purchase was made.

I have been wearing them now for a little over a week, to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. They are awful. They are cold, the sole is so hard, I took out the insole they came with and put a gel one in, but its not really helped. The sides also feel hard and uncomfortable.

Gutted:thumbdown:

Haix come with a no quibble 2 year guarantee , I've had two pairs swapped when they've gone buggered

Never an issue - just email the supplier ( brick workwear in my case )

With serial no an photo of the failed part of boot , and the new ones are posted out

Just one reason to stick with em

I had a pair replaced directly by Haix when I couldn't remember who I had bought them from at an APF. Same deal, pics and serial number. :thumbup1:

yes two years manufactures warranty, there not going to replace then if you ware them out. They also have a get out, if they've not been maintained along with user instructions, lol

I had been wearing mine for well over a year when the sole split and they never asked me any other questions than photos and serial number. They never saw the boots in the flesh to check them for themselves either. IIRC. there were a lot of complaints about them previously so perhaps they figured it wasn't worth the hassle to get me to send them in. :001_smile:

Hahaha, that is laughable!!!!

I have had ongoing battles with Hiax for a long time now. Had two pairs last 6 months both split in the same place. There's a whole other thread on it.

Anyhoo they said I must have been using the boots for uses other than intended for them to go wrong.

They also said they've never had any problem or complaints about their boots
