I put mine down today whilst moving some branches and sure enough when I went to pick it up again it had set fire to a bundle of dry moss. Must have been pretty damn hot!

They do get v hot, but to be fair any exhaust would set fire to dry moss!

You were using it on the ground weren't you?

An in-built sensor picked up on this, and the saw blew up.

I've called the police anyway.

Mark is this a UK only offer do you know?

I don't have a clue sorry. I don't know if it's something Echo are doing or wether it's just the UK echo supplier.

No problem, not in a major rush as on some big takedowns at the moment. Will go with the loan saw as will almost definitely keep it for the money (can't have too many saws) is the 280 the only option or is the 360 a possibility if paid a little more than the £99?

Sorry no 360, 280 only. Can you do me a favor and pm me your email address as I need to arrange getting the 2510 back to us.

All our customers will get an official e-mail as well to the effect of:

  • Stop using the saw. Empty of fuel, remove bar and chain. Box it and advise us which day you want collected.

  • Do you want the offer of a CS280TES before the new 2511 is available? We will fit these with a 1/4 sprocket so you can continue using the mini 1/4 .043 bar and chain.

  • Or we can refund you

Rob
