cheaper number plates

I need to get 3 new number plates made up. Not keen on them from halfords at 15.99ea. Anyone got any idea where I can get them cheaper? Thanks!

You can get them online for £10 each delivered if you shop around, just have to send a pic of your driving licence and log book to comply with the regs

Shop around the smaller, private, car accessory shops - the ones where the person behind the counter knows a bit about cars.

Cheaper to make your own, they work out about £2 each and take no more than a minute to make. Its a godsend with the amount we break. I got the rollers, thousands of numbers, letters and tons of numberplate bolts off a garage closing down sale. The only thing I have needed to buy in recent years are the backing plates.

E bay, if you choose the right supplier dont even need to show copies of paperwork

As said, eBay. Look for 'Show plates' saves having to go through paperwork. That said my mate makes his own so he does mine for a beer.

Thats where I get mine from everytime I change my pick up , for my trailers etc. Don't have to show your log book either.
