What PPE would the guy need if using a pole saw?

Not sure.Do you think he might have had one of those "Swedish side strops" from back in the day? You know the ones that were just a bit of Cable with a Pussik on it?

Not seen one of those for years.

And topping down strops, three strand with a eye in it.

Mate, I've antagonised you and Sean. Very tongue in cheek if you couldn't tell.

It's the way I see it these days, as you say it goes on every day and we see lots of it. Regardless of your professional attitude it will still go on, so as a result although it possibly defeatist I don't let it get under my skin anymore.

I do realise it's possibly not the "correct" thing to do turning a blind eye, but if there's no official action being taken with these wannabes what can we do?

Pete don't backtrack now, was it you mullering that poor Birch?

That's cool, I think you summed up this thread quite well. I wasn't particularly stressing about what I saw, just wondering if anything could be done. But it's all good, another learning curve from the Arbtalk masses!

Isn't it just? I was hoping for pats on the back all round and maybe even a few cheers! 'Twas not to be mick, Twas not to be. Nope, just wanted to see what the general consensus was and whether it was worth a phone call. Why not? It's not a bad request. Maybe I should just leave it, but then again, screw em.

No harm in that, consensus is hard to find on a trade forum.

We all do stuff that taken in isolation, without people having reference to what the client demanded, and photographed and put on the internet would look less than ideal.

Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.
