Presumably the logs are seasoned as billets, then chopped into logs when seasoned? (Maybe a bit more seasoning once finally logged).

Thor magik. I recently bought one of a member on here and it's everything a splitter should be, powerful, easy to move ( when ram in down ) and more importantly quick.

Yes split into billets and stack as picture below, cover the top with a tarp. Does mean they can be got down to 18% moisture in one spring and summer if catching the wind and sun right.

Anyone know what sort of money they are? And anyone experienced the electric one in comparison to the above petrol one?

 

July last year I paid £2300 plus £180 all

plus vat for a midway table. Splitter was an ex demo model, so slightly cheaper.

Been great.
