Great pictures mate. Not really seen anything like that before.

 

What was the height of the tree? it was certainly chunky.

Around 75ft I would think Rich, but as wide as it was tall, not one you would have felled without removing the lower crown first.

Interesting one. Did you have any qualms about climbing it Dave?

 

No, I did genuinely think I would need to keep nibbling all round to keep it stable, which I did to begin with, but it soon became apparent that it was not moving much and the bits got bigger :biggrin:
