I used to love a Bowie song here an there, even bought a couple of albums back in the day..

Then he tried to reinvent himself for some mysterious reason.. never was the same..

 

 

Then again for a fella as bright as him, the idea of singing the same old songs night after night might just become something akin to a form of living death..

A creative genius reduced to clapping like a seal for a fish...

Suppose I can't blame him and others for moving on..

If you are sad, just remember the world is 4.5 billion years old and you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie.

 

RIP David

 

I read that quote on the BBC News page this morning but couldn't find it this evening.... seems they may have removed it??

I think it's a superb comment because you could replace the name with anybody, lost family, friends and still get that feeling.
