Criminal record, although I've only had one offence (traffic) since 1996. On the other hand Mrs Egg holds a SC and keeps a gun in our house.

Well, it kind of depends on why you have a record!

 

Did the police speak to you when Mrs. Eggs applied for her certificate?

Yes, I applied for mine when the firearms officer came to speak to Mrs Egg. He told me in no uncertain terms that I wouldn't be getting a SC, yet Mrs Egg still has a gun in the house.

 

Like I said, madness.
