Have a look at the Collino Saw Benches from Oak Leaf Forestry.

 

We run a Pto driven one and find it ok for what we need.

 

Made in Italy I believe.

 

 

I have one of these Collino Saws from Oakleaf Forestry. The best I have seen. I looked at them all and this one is very well made and very good value. Been using it for almost 5 years now and never looked back. Conveyors are available for them too, looked at them at the time and alway planned to go back for one but never have (yet).

Looks good, quite fancy 1 now I've seen it working.

Do you run the splitter of the tracked barrow?

 

Splitter runs off a powerpack (not visible in video), the barrow is a mucktruck so no hydraulics :001_smile:

I've got one of these for sale:

Has cut about 10 tonne, 13hp, electric start, £500! Selling due to packing up doing logs.

We have a pto one from oakleaf too. It has certainly mad life easier that's for sure. For some reason I can't upload a pic I'll try again later, or pm me you email I'll send you a couple over Bob
