My wife's contribution to the thread but she hasn't any nuts when I last checked.

Does make changing the rear wheels easier though!

They are ace, and but this was one of the few situations where it needed a little help!

She says that she took it out of four wheel drive for the main road which was snow free but forgot to put it back in for the minor road.

The strange thing is that she seems to have driven it into the ditch rather than skidded there. I thought it wise not to ask any more questions!

Got manual hubs on my hilux. I can leave um locked all the time so I get four wheel drive on when I go to 4x4 or I can disengage them so if I am doing more on the road or if I want to drive in low box whilst in 2wd- won't be doing that with you auto hub's![/QUOTE]

Oh yes I will! :001_tongue:I've put a switch into the modulator circuit that switches the vacuum to the hubs. Any time I need low range on a hard surface

e.g reversing a trailer round tricky bits, I just select 2L, flick the switch & away to go. Means my hands are always clean enough to pick my nose without leaving marks!

An old four track used to go into low on the stick then press a button to get the front hubs engaged.

Sounds like a top mod
