Thieving Scumbag - Maybe in Sussex Area

It seems that employing people and giving them a job, wage and perks like use of a company vehicle are just not enough for some people!!

This guy goes by the name of Lance Chambers and was working for us as a plant fitter / mechanic - Although it now transpires that, amongst the web of lies he has told us and others, he may be posing as a Tree Surgeon.

He has done a runner with our Green Ford Transit Connect Reg - LJ06 XKB (similar to the one in the picture) and quite possibly a number of saws, we seem to be missing 2x MS200t's, Husky 560xp, maybe also a blower and some other kit, who knows...! The van was sign written with Wolverhampton Tree Service logo's in yellow, but these have most probably been removed by now.

The police report that the van has been spotted in the Sussex area on ANPR camera. So he may be posing as a tree surgeon around that area.

If anyone spots him please report to the Police or let us know on 01902 892652

Is there anything distinctive about the van - coloured panels, obvious damage etc? I'm in and out of Sussex regularly, i.e. tomorrow, as well as up and down the M23.

Will there be marks left from the removal of the logos?

The above would all be things to look out for beyond 'green Transit'.

Good luck with the hunt: I doubt it will take long.

Jon

For some people it doesn't matter what you do, you try to be fair and treat them as you'd like to be treated, and it still isn't enough.

We've helped lads out, loaned them money to pay property deposits, utility payments when they have got into arrears, the initial car insurance payments when they didn't have it.

My missus decorated and furnished a house for one staff member - to get him on his feet and somewhere nice to come home too. Then bailed him out when he went bought i-phones and a 50" flat screen TV from Brighthouse (they do have your trousers down with interest rates). Two years on he's paid back less than half of what he owes her.

The worse thing is you learn not to trust people and be hard, which is a shame because a few people do act with honesty and integrity. It's just finding out which ones they are:sneaky2:
