Yes you guys are correct, and so do the folks at my main job say. I actually work as a welder lol, and doing this stump grinding as job aswell.. Even tho I am a lumberjack in my real trade. But this is way over the limit and the only thing he can deliver is bad news. I did welding on this van myself on the back, when I took off the back of it and did it to suit for my machine.. But I have a Tig welder and Stick in same.. For this thin material I need a mig.. Got the Tig up for sale on Ebay now, no use for it.. So either I buy a mig welder or hire one.. I am so so very disappointed.

Go pick your van up stefan. You have been more than reasonable. Just take it somewhere else for peace of mind.

yes just had a word with my fiancé there, and we cant have this, I have been as polite as I can. And now i loose money on this, and unlike him i do take customers as number one. I did a 90 pounds job a very small job, but the hire of the van made it so i lost money on it. But this was timed for a day and a time where i could not tie in any other jobs to.

On Monday i go and pick it up. I have this thought that what if he have welded on this van without disconnecting the battery and have done damage to the electronics ? Anyhow no matter i go down there and get the van and get do it myself or get it to some that will deliver.

So that's about it, im actually going to text him right now about it, I'm just don't want another promise from the guy. I'm not waiting till Monday, he just need to get down there tomorrow even tho it's not open and give me my van so i can get this done, the less this clown got to do with this the better... Might even go down to Key line buy a HUGE bit of plywood and write .. This guy is a bull shitter delivers nothing but bad news !!!!

When you go into business for yourself you stick your neck out regularly. I could sit here and list dozens of errors I've made, bad machines bought, useless suppliers/service providers I've indulged for years, it's all easy in hindsight.

Just get it sorted and move on, if this is the worst mistake you've made all year you've done well.
