Why is non Euro immigration more costly than eu immigration? Serious question?

I expect its the culture from which other immigrants come..

Pakistan Bangladesh Africa, I'd think most want to find work but a lot struggle

On the other hand, European migrants are better educated and possess a work ethic even most English struggle to keep up with..

does that answer your question?

My take on it was that immigration has an overall beneficial effect on the country if you take into account the skew of immigrant's children being counted as British, not immigrants. :001_smile:

Ehhhhmmmm, it quite clearly doesn't say that....

People here are complaining about the government saving £4 billion a year on benefits.... While non EU migrants cost far more more....

Would it not be an idea to reduce non EU migration?

'Christian Dustmann, the centre’s director and a co-author of the study, said: “Immigration to the UK since 2000 has been of substantial net fiscal benefit, with immigrants contributing more than they have received in benefits and transfers.'
