Stretch Airs - again!

Finally bought a pair (type C) at Jonesie's show and I am well impressed.

Also picked up a Fletcher Stewart catalogue which features Stretch Air non-protective climbing trousers, which appear to be IDENTICAL to the type C's.

Can you see where I am heading with this?

So when your £200 trousers start to look like something a tramp would wear but the ballistic inserts are still virginal, would it be possible to spend half the money and tack-stitch the inserts into the shell trousers? (for half the price). If not, why not?

Let's face it, it's hardly ever the ballistic material that forces you to buy new keks, is it?

Are you listening Pfanner?

Don't worry about losing money. If you introduced this concept more people would buy your excellent trousers.

I'll have a 10% share of increased profits. Ta.

We used to always wear hi-flex and then decided to try some stretch airs. That was three years ago and i still have that pair!! Bit tatered now though! haha.

The stretch airs are awesome trousers and would not go back to hi-flex's now but the newer ones dont seem quite as good as the earlier models? The gladiator type a's are really good for the summer too!!

Stretch airs are pony!! Too heavy, too hot and the crotch has no give in it at all, Hence why all the zips break on every pair, At first i thought it was due to my massiveness but plenty of lesser men have had the same problem too :001_tt2:, I like the Hi flex because of the give in them, the move loads and i havent split a crotch out of a pair yet, Yes, They dont last as long as they should but for me they are the best.
