Waterproof jacket?

I guess no body has one.

I find it humorous that British people will spend £250 on a coat to go for a stroll on Bodmin moor but resent paying more than £40 on a coat to climb trees in all day. (Then complain bitterly when the cheap one leaks!).

I've never seen any of these Pfanner jackets, that's why I'm asking here.

Thanks.

I totally agree. I havnt got a problem with spending the money on something that's going to work. I spend more time at work than not and I want to keep dry. I have a cut and climb, to be honest I'm not that keen. I've ripped the arm on mine and won't be getting another. I'll be interested if anyone has any recommendations. There's a few web sites that have some good coats on sale. I have a haglofs for out and about and I may get another for work.

To be honest unless it's really cold I'll just get wet. Keep a spare t shirt and hoody in the van. If rather be wet and cool than clammy and hot.

If it's cold though, the cut and climb is great with just a t shirt underneath.

Mine ain't so waterproof anymore after two years, but it's tough and keeps the worst out. I'd still call it good value for money.
