I don't know what intellectual property rights are protected but AFAIK the patent was granted to a German chap, quite a while back.

I used one in Germany back in the late 80's

if you ONLY make ONE and it's for PERSONAL use only, who will know and who's going to stop you?

Mind..... making an exact copy is a little silly, some differences might help in your defence if the worst ever did happen!

Your chances of being sued for making one for yourself are virtually zero as the cost of the lawsuit would be prohibitive compared to the likely damages that would be awarded based on a single item. The risk of being sued is probably a lot higher for the person posting the dimensions as the court could potentially construe that they were conspiring to cause multiple infringements.

I think if you add up the cost of materials ( the wheels aint cheap), paint etc. Plus time to plan, cut and weld it all you wont be far off buying one.

Depends how you value your time, a day out with the kids or a day in the shed making a fancy wheelbarrow...

Mine paid for itself on its firsts days use.

I am sure Reg doesn't make mega bucks from the Arbotrolley. But he brought it to the market and has spent a fair bit of time and resource promoting it.

Why not show a bit of respect and and buy an original... As stated above and in many other threads it will pay for itself in no time.
