Depends on what you define as the small stuff?

Paying the bills and keeping a roof over the heads of me, my fiancee and the puppy aren't small things.

Having said that - the toll my job is having on my sanity isn't a small thing either.

4 weeks until my C30/31

I'm going to enroll on the RFS Level 2 today as well. It'll be tight month!

That's pretty spooky.

Changing my career from warehouse manager that's be tolling my sanity for too long.

Worried about the bills, for myself, my fiancée and pup.

a few weeks until i do my CS30/31.

Also enrolled on to the RFS level 2 on Monday.

Sounds like we on a very similar path dude.

This thread has helped put to rest some the apprehension.

Good luck to you.

I have the application form for Capel college in my pocket. Enrolled on the C30/31. That's a£1k to pay out on training in the next 3-4 weeks.

Then there's the 'Tree surgeons are like confetti' thread and lots of people saying they're short of work.

Is this really the best idea?

The OH has just been out and bought a new Cashcow too.

  • 2 weeks later...

Similar thoughts are radiating in my noggin too buddy... :confused1:

Sod it, the path is paved now, and my OH is happy that I'm finally doing something about it.... that's worth it's weight in gold for me.

I just hope I can get through the RFS course... it's more of a effort than I originally anticipated.... :blushing:

Been following this thread last few weeks. Was in the same boat. Needed to change after a few years H.G.V driving. Was an arborist 30 yrs ago. At 57 made the jump back. CS 31 training this week as all my old training was out of date. Then climbing course in a couple of weeks to help employment prospects. Was in woods yesterday and realised I have made right move.

Good luck for future.
