We've cut that hedge before. Don't know where they get 4 days from. It's a 2 day job max. But then I never believe anything I read In the daily mail anyway.

The neighbours all seem to hate her, which is a sad reflection of British society really, we just hate to see anyone do well.

The works to the house and garden did take a long time though so some of the close neighbours got the hump over that.

I'm not a socialist but I can see why someone that buys their neighbours house for a million quid so they can knock it down to extend their garden would P1ss people off....

Don't see the problem, they sold it so what do they care!!

It just seems a bit wrong to knock down a million pound house when people are living in shop doorways.

Are you serious? It's their house and they can do what they want. Do you leave a bit of food and think I could of sent that to the starving kids? Come on, get real.

If I had a million quid in the bank I could think of better things to do than knock a house down..... What would you do with a million? Maybe buy some ferraris and burn them?

You don't know what it has added to the value of her house/the enjoyment of her property/what price she puts on privacy etc. It's her money and I think good on her for spending it in any way she sees fit.

Well personally I believe the workers in that bucket lift should be using Easy-Lift Harnesses as well. With regards to the owner of the property buying up other property with their own money and doing with it what she wants to, I say good for her. The owner as proved to be accomplished Entrepreneur and Capitalist. I can't think of one socialist that can claim any economic success at all.
