I must say I find texting a boon when it comes to organising work. Not for the initial response and quote organising but if you're running late, if you want them to have your details so they can post you a cheque or to say you'll be along tom morn at 8a.m....

You save so much time texting I find....

I had a call a few weeks back, on a tuesday afternoon, "can you give me a price for removing some branches", "yes", I say "I'll call one evening next week, to give you a price"

He says "Oh, I need it done this week"

I reply "Sorry can't do anthing for 3 or 4 weeks"

He says "Oh, right bye"

Friday comes round, phone rings I answer and recognise the same voice, "Have you any work on this afternoon?"

I reply "No"

Him "Do you want some?"

Me "No"

Him "Why not?"

Me "Because I'm on my hoildays!!"

Him "Oh! right bye"

Cheeky sod!!!:mad1::mad1:

Better off without the ones that think they are doing you a favour by dragging you out for half an hours work i reckon. They only quibble anyway.
