Resin - cleaning nightmare

Hi used a lot of different liquids and clraners over the years some work some dont but by far i have found methes to be about the best and all so its not expensive couple of quid for 500ml and that will last a couple of monthes all so use it on my hands for removing resin.

The only solvent that can clean from spruce resin is "Balsam-terpentin" in Swedish. You may translate from eg. http://www.terpentin.nu/

It's "French terpentine" distilled through water vapour and originally used by shipbuilders.

It's a less harmful solvent than petroleum-based mineral terpentine, which doesn't dissolve the mentioned resin as good.

WD40 works quite well.

It's thin enough to dissolve the resin but not so thin as to be able to damage plastics and paint like more volatile solvents (acetone, thinners etc). Spray on and allow it some time to soften.
