Very enjoyable video. I imagine getting the right tension in the strop on the sections to be cut is a fine art.

Being able to take the sections straight from the cut to the trailer must have saved loads if time and effort.

7 meters or 22.9 inches for the brits

 

Not sure what you mean mate.

 

We are a metric nation don't you know. Except when travelling or talking to older people :001_tt2:

 

I am not too hot on conversion rates but 7 metres is a bit larger than 22.9inches

Awful use of the hiab in this video.

People shouldn't view this as a good example of hiab use, somebody will end up getting seriously hurt

Agreed John.

 

Crane/hiab work is not supposed to be dynamic in any way. It is about smooth lifts & where possible the pick should remain static when cut

Using the crane like that is going to result in someone getting hurt and the crane damaged, IMO.
