Annoying yes, especially explaining the customer. For sure the belt never breaks in the gararage. How many hours had the belt on the clock?

Always have spare belts :D down time was about 15mins whilst having a brew :thumbup1:

 

Not Questing your mechanical knowledge but I doubt fitting those belts properly would take anyone 15mins. Unless the method to tension and align them is very easy on the machine.

 

My old Bandit 2150 was a major pain to change belts on. Mainly because one of the engine alignment bolts was a nightmare to get tools on to. That, and it had two sets of belts which both had be realigned when either set had an issue.

;) i just rolled them on to get the job done and paid ;) busted lol :lol:

Should it not also be a single belt, IE two belt manufactured as one piece.

 

I would imagine single belts don't last long?

 

Most likely, whats on yours?

 

The hb20 is a single belt like you say, 2 belts as one.

 

Belts last ok and are cheap. Not sure how much a proper one is? Just how it came when i bought it
