Interesting stuff, going to try that with some salmon in the oven on some cedar and apply offcuts iv got hanging around, looks like it could be a good craft fair addition to the stand ;-)

are these of any use?

 

they are on the fire pile.

 

roughly 6 x 10" x 1/4".

 

might get more from my offcuts as i'll be milling some oak in the near future.

 

Sorry no, they would need to be like in the picture. Straight edges and all that. I'm sure it would work on yours though.
