Hi everyone! I am looking to buy Beech and Ash 'Bars' by the lorry load. We have a tight spec, but it can be worth the extra work since we pay more than "firewood" prices for it. Spec: Length 3m +/- 20cm (other lengths to order only) Minimum top diameter 15cm Maximum butt diameter 32cm All timber should be as knot free as possible, 1st length type material (no top wood), it should be straight within reason with no butt flares, rot, dirt or metal contamination Delivery will be to Harlow, Essex. Hi guys, I have a rather strange request from a customer for 2 Oak logs from Sherwood Forest. The logs will be milled so needs to be of a decent size (ideally 3m length with 30cm - 60cm diameter but we can discuss the details) and preferably green. Also, I will need a felling licence to prove where they are from. Delivered to CM17. I know it won't be cheap, so if you just so happen to have access to the above and the ability to deliver please drop me a PM and I should be able to make it worth your time. Many thanks!

No, I didn't unfortunately. I am very interested in finding at least a lorry of Cherry and another of Alder. I have some lovely Sweet Chestnut in the yard at the moment.

I thought me ears were burning... We have about 30 tonnes of apple in our yard at the moment, but we are always interested in potential suppliers. And we do pay the best prices and fast. Now, if anyone manages to find pear wood I'll bite off your arm...

It does mean exactly that, as knot free as possible. We process different products from the wood and some are quite small. If the wood is too knotty it limits what we can get out of it so we would rather pay a bit more for 'hardwood bars' then lose productivity here. Hope that helps

Hi, I am trying to source cherry wood for delivery to Harlow, Essex. We are looking for up to 50 tonnes. Can pay a better price the closer it is to the below spec: • Length 3m +/- 20cm (other lengths to order only) • Minimum top diameter 15cm • Maximum butt diameter 32cm Should be fresh felled (no dead wood), as knot free as possible, 1st length type material (no top wood), it should be straight within reason with no butt flares, rot, dirt or metal contamination. That seems expensive to me. I buy 1000's of boxes every year. For "off the shelf" boxes Kite Packaging are decent: https://www.kitepackaging.co.uk/scp/heavy-duty-cardboard-boxes/double-wall-boxes/ If you look at the 6th option down you will see your size. If you want bespoke / printed boxes, I can not recommend connect packaging enough.

We pay a similar price per tonne, sometimes a bit more.

Yeah I appreciate it is harder to source so we pay more for it. We turn it into many different products, we have milled some, chipped some, logs etc.

If we can get them to that spec it allows us to use them for different products.

Black gold! Do you have the bits on the very bottom getting tar on them? If so, it might help to slightly raise the back legs to help drain the "juices" out the front door.

Hi everybody, I need a small amount of hazel (1 to 2 tonnes). Preference will be given to fresh felled stuff, 10cm - 20cm diameter, 2m length minimum. I am also on the lookout for cherry and alder, same amounts and spec. If there is anyone in the south east (delivery to Harlow - Essex) interested please pm me and we can discuss prices etc.

I am on the lookout for old circular saw blades, the bigger the better. Rusty is a plus. Any big old band saw blades would be great as well. If anyone has anything like this please post a picture and let me know what you would like for it. If you can package it up I can arrange collection. Cheers!
