series 1 rs turbo dunno how i got insured it was only a grand i think??? third party but managed to write it off within two months after getting it chipped and a few other mods to 180bhp and then melted the breaks resulting in a bit of a encounter with a large ditch!

v reg, metallic plum with beige vinyl roof mini 1100 special... crashed and came back reincarnated cherry red with black roof, looked the biz but as crap as they come.

 

c reg mini chelsea, bog standard

 

F reg peugeot 1.4Xs, sky blue, ran like a dream and even outpaced a couple of gti's

 

n reg Fiat coupe 1.8 16v turbo metalic green, mental motor but they have habit of engine exploding.

 

r reg fiat coupe 2.0 20v turbo. metalic silver, trade in for the blown up one. went like billy-o just not round bends :scared1:

 

w reg subaru impreza turbo. rally wagon estate, metalic blue, gold loys, prodrive pack...

 

joined a car club for a while and managed a few weapons for a bit but then it went seriously downhill

Them series 1's IMO are one of the best looking cars ever to be made

J reg Mk2 Cortina 1600GT in maroon and alloys.. The 'went downhill from there came rapidly'. On to M reg Marina 1.3. Mk2 Golf GLS, S reg, in metallic green with brown tinted glass; a handsome car. W reg GTi, one of the last 1600cc ones I believe.

Then marriage. Kids. 'Nuff said about cars.

They say you should never get rid of your 1st car which i haven't. '87 Nissan Micra, pretty much everyone i know has mocked the micra but at least its being honest, its built a damn sight better than some of todays cars. I was running a Honda Accord aswell, till someone drove into it and wrote it off. :thumbdown: Im currently on the hunt for a Volvo S40 T5 that isn't a million miles away from me :001_cool: Maybe when i get a new car, the micra will be retired for a while to be breathed on, im feeling an SR20DET will fit the bill perfectly. :001_tt1:

My first car 1.2 vauxhall corsa 1995. Was the most immaculate car that im ever likely to own, had only done 35000 miles and i got it for £1200 not bad.

 

Driving around with a 555 watt RMS fusion sub strapped in the back of it. The car didant roll it bounced! Good times!!
