They will never forget that bus trip. Guess it might even rate as a crash course in Arborculture, all kidding aside I am glad no one was seriously hurt.

Glad to hear that this didn't turn out any worse than it did.

 

Looks like the bus was parked outside the school at the time of it being struck.

 

Makes it a pretty high target area.

 

Apart from the obvious wind (any idea how strong it was at the time?) did you find whether it had any specific basal decay/structural weakness?
