Your local dealer is probably your best bet, get a good relationship with them so back up and repair service is good.

Forest and Arb, Winchester are the cheapest in the south of england. MS201T for 528 inc VAT and MS461 772inc VAT.

I use my local dealer, he pretty much price matches, but if I am paying a little over the top at least I know help is at hand nearby if I get an issue, cheapest is not always best in most things.

 

I'm not obsessed by price, but by a good local service & backup, a wise thing learnt the hard way.

Always use my local dealers, but I'm always sure to get a best price off the web first and go armed with that. They always seem to get pretty close.

When it's time to get a saw. It's time to look around for deals. Put that against your nearest dealer/best dealer in your area. Then go for which one will work best for you.

do you always have to return the saw to the place of purchase or will some dealers honour a warrenty anyway as presumably the costs are passed on to the manufacturer?
