So you have no insurance until someone has threatened you ?

Not a very clever thing to do imo

NFU would be a good starting point

if you only leafleted 40 houses it should be pretty easy to narrow it down if it's someone who don't like competition I would have thought.

What on earth is wrong with people nowadays :dontknow:

yes I had similar call about 4 years ago, that night a car was waiting in the car park bottom of the yard road, it tried several times to have me drive into the back of it in the end I tore the side out of it he needed 4 new panels police reckoned write off my insurance company refused to defend the case.

You could just drop flyers to the first 20 and see if there is a reaction. Do the others the week after or split it into 10s to try and narrow it down. I think I might also walk the dog or wander around that area and look for a sign written van or equipment. Might be good info for the police if it goes that far. Probably not worth starting a war over though.

At the black isle show this year a local supplier of kiln dried logs decided to put hundreds/thousands of flyers out in the car park under people's wipers. Not sure if they had permission from the show organisers, doubt it.

Unfortunately they used cheap double sided flyers, there was a little rain during the day and half the paper stuck itself to the windscreens!

The car park fields were full of people at 5pm trying to scrape the cr@p off. Not the best advert for your business! :001_rolleyes:
