They are wide for their size even with the non easy start recoil, and the handling suffers from it.

Inboard clutches are a bad idea, regarding the handling of saws.

Have you emailed them telling them this? I'm sure they'd be very grateful, and probably feel daft for not realising!

There is, but they still are light and nimble saws. :001_smile:

That scrap metal can of course be removed, but that's another story....

Oh year I do have one but the guts been taken out of the muffler . Cut and shut . :001_smile:

with the easy start recoil the ps-350sc ps-420sc ps-4605 and ps-5105 is defiantely wider than the older models but the slimmer recoil can be purchased for the 5105 i will research and see if the others can be purchased

Mmmm. Sounds nice. But would that include a narrow top handle bar?

Niko, you're talking shite again!

As for the 550/560, they'd be even lighter if they removed the metal on the cylinder to give it proper ports, and even less if the muffler had a reasonable amount of baffles rather than the maze for fumes it is!

.....

Well, of course it is better for the handling to have the bar and chain as close to the centre of gravity as possible - which means an outboard clutch/inboard sprocket. :001_smile:
