One slight difference, the boss may be on £60 per hour, his employees £7

When the boss quotes the work he know what he "hopes" too be making.

When the employee takes the job he "knows" what he will be making.

They both made their decision.

Should the boss tell the customer it will cost more if its warm??:confused1:

No, but he shouldn't expect his employees to work their nuts off for next to nowt, I dont and I wouldn't.

I told my groundy what he would be on for the first year, I then told him I don't expect him to work his nuts off for that.

He has shown total respect for my honesty and works harder than I expect him to, one thing I wouldn't do is push him hard in hot weather :confused1:

i have said to the chaps that work with me to take a break when they need it and i try to take extra water with me to make sure no one goes thirsty every day last week and today i got my other half to bring out some ice creams for everyone half ay through the afternoon , its only fair to reward them for working hard in such hot weather .

Who mentioned poor pay???

Are you reading a different thread to me????????

I did a few threads above..

and someone mentioned Bosses leading by example ???

Bosses are on a vast amount more pay than their employees which does not warrant them going hell for leather if their boss decides he want to "lead by example"

Fair play to you Dean, an honest fair boss will create a team that are more productive, stay in your employment longer and boost your business.
