Can't stand the heat??

All this talk of working in the heat got me thinking, I love the summer, I am aways happier wet from sweat than wet from rain

 

Some, such as Dean, seem to find it a real health problem, not something I have ever found, just wondered how common this health issue is .

I dont get heat stroke but i do suffer very badly from heat lumps!! When its hot im pretty much covered from head to toe and they itch like crazy!!!

 

I like the sun when sat outside the pub alot more haha

i love the heat too dave, really annoys me in winter you get people saying 'i hate the cold, wish it was summer' then allong comes summer 'i hate this heat, roll on winter'

 

ive suffered from heatstroke once, not nice, but better than freezing youre gonads off

it gives me migraines bad, but prevention is better the cure so i take 4 lrs off water with me and force myself to drink it.

also little breaks throughout the day help nothin long just the odd five mins to chill yourself out.

I am afraid i prefer the frosty chill than the heat any day. I can work hard to keep warm, but cant work slow to keep cool. Heat exhaustion is a real threat to operator safety, I for one hate sweat streaming into my eyes all day, chafing sweaty chainsaw trousers, and all the general discomfort. Sun is for sitting in beer gardens with a nice pint, or sitting on the beach watching the world go by, not for working your nads off in.

I love it for riding my bike but it makes work harder not a real issue though if iw as running the show in this weather i'd be wearing shorts like the guys in Oz and NZ for sure!
