One of the biggest companys in Canada, Le Mar Lake Logging went on ax men for all of 5 minutes yet the smaller headcases have been on there for years. my 2 pence

I think that there is a great opportunity to educate the public about what we actually do.

95% of them think we are glorified gardeners, travellers or lumberjacks.

We've all heard it,

'£600 to take a tree down, that's ridiculous!'

'Ive got a tree that needs the top taking out of it.'

'Can't you just cut it at the bottom?'

'The nice men doing the drive next door said they'll beat your quote for cash if we keep the branches.'

Etc etc.

I'm not bothered about people seeing how I operate.

It's not always pretty, but it's honest.

Well said. Might be worth the OP contacting the Arboricultural Association too...

I'm not bothered what the public think but I do know whatever they make of it I will not watch it and after the edits you will look like a shouty mad incompetent cowboy who argues with the crew, it's what "reality" television is all about these days.

We run our tree teams with recovering addicts raising finances for charity..

It's never a dull moment and sometimes very challenging.

I guess it would make for very interesting TV .

But we would NEVER sell out to a TV company.

(No offence Zara)

Hi Zara.

I've just been stung by bees 12 times and snapped a BT line while reducing a crappy conifer hedge.

Do you do comedy?

If it helps any, I've heard that the ladies love a good bee sting.

My dad told me when he was drinking.

I think that's what he said...
