I've recently taken to free climbing simply using "The Force" as my safety net.

It worked for Luke Skywalker after all.

Clenching a Zubat between my jaws I move around the crown in complete confidence by imagining the ground to be 1m from wherever I be.

We work in a work position ing harness and that means ideally there should never be any slack in your line as if you was to slip or fall you would be shock loading.

 

However experience dictates that this is not always possible so just be sensible and careful.
