Hi Guys

Having received constant requests from our customers over the years to produce a pair of waterproof trousers to match the quality of our cutandclimb jacket, we are going into production. 😀

However, it's important for us to include the features that our customers need and we'd therefore be delighted to hear your views on what would make the ideal waterproof trouser for you.

We will be manufacturing the waterproof trousers from the same tried and tested, highly durable, highly breathable and waterproof fabric and will also be incorporating a waterproof side zip down each leg side to aid getting them off and on with boots on.

What we'd like to know about is stuff like:

Side leg zips - what's the optimum length?

Do you need belt loops?

Do you need connecting points for braces?

Hi viz tapes - necessary or not?

Pockets - yes or no?

Elasticated waistband or trouser style finish with zip and button?

Price point (realistically it'll be in line with the jacket).

Colours?

So, please fire away and let us know what you'd like the cutandclimb waterproof trousers to feature!

Side leg zips - top of calf

Hi viz tapes - necessary or not? Absolutely

Pockets - yes or no? No, but zips to get to trouser pockets would be nice

Elasticated waistband or trouser style finish with zip and button? Elastic back with zip & button front

Price point (realistically it'll be in line with the jacket). No idea

Colours? Dark - hi viz looks dirty too quickly, however with hi viz tapes will still be visible

Hope that helps :001_smile:

I bought your jacket recently and have since been wishing that you made matching trousers.

Bravo!

Leg zips - Up to the bottom of the calf and on the outside of the leg.

Waist fitting - Elasticated with belt loops. Allows options for both preferences.

Hi Viz piping would be good.

Make the cut articulated so, long around the butt and long around the knee.

Colours - To match the jacket but more orange. (I would prefer less black on the jacket too).

Price - I don't care. If it's good I'll buy it.

Put me down for a pair. Or send me some for the development phase! Haha!

Zips top of calf

Belt loops: yes

Brace connectors: yes, with hi back

Elasticated with zip fly

Hi viz tapes: yes

Pockets: zips to access trousers

Colour: dark, as they get mucky quicker than jacket (or maybe a choice?)

Price: if they work I'm not too fussed!
