I think that's what he's saying.....If it can be felled, no need for climbers.

 

No, I think he's saying it will do the same job as a climber, IE destroy the tree from the top down.

 

However, the machine takes up more room than the space needed in which to simply fell the tree, unlike a climber.

Think about it no more grumpy climbers making loads of mess for us to tidy up.job could be done in a few minutes .and no faffing about packing up kit .ideal. Mind you Never let a climber drive it,they will smash every window for miles around and then want their job back....mmmm jake

you would not want to be going for a stroll anywhere near that thing! Imagine the splinters!

Awesome machine but I can imagine maintaining those cutting blades must be a bitch, particularly if you hit a stone.

 

Its a flail, it doesn't have blades, it is a bit of a blunt instrument with clubs on a beater bar. (think stump grinder) It will take on stones and all kinds of crud if you ask it to.
